Great location! Electric vehicle charging in the front and great parking. Very accessible, right in the center of Wakefield. Wide selection of items. Some of which I can’t find at other stores, namely ethnic foods. Would reccomend!

Terrible customer service. There is zero communication between the departments. The orders for pick up are missing the items and unless you call for each missing item specifically, nobody would bother telling you, that in fact, they forgot to include 9 items in your order!!! So that means you would be traveling back and forth to get your food. So much for convenience. The national customer service desk is even worse. Rude, helpless employees who offer resolution and then wash their hands. You spend an hour on the phone with them trying to find out where the groceries they promised to deliver went (2 hours after the time promised) only to find out... that the store employees have placed the order with Doordash to deliver your groceries... drumroll... back to the store!!! We had the worst experience. I would never go back to that place.

Worst as a quality for them. I went to buy a promo that I got so I have a business and decided to buy on coupon for my house and another for our business, the woman who was the cashier said she could terminate my account because I was doing a “terrible thing “ against the rules ( I was buying coffee that was close to expire ) I definitely felt offended . How is that possible? I was paying for those , using our number as customer , how is this against rules ? Should I know their rules ? I don’t even work there , next time I enter a store to buy groceries I’ll ask the “rules “

Good if you need a few things. Almost everything here is overpriced by $1-2 over any other store, so a full trip adds up FAST with extra $$$. No self checkout yet they only ever seem to have one aisle open, but at least they have baggers!

I was able to write this review while standing in line. You have plenty of time to stand in line here. The reason I never come here is because of the line. Today was a mistake. The nice thing is that it gives you plenty of time to think. About the one that got away. About calling your mother. About the death of the sun in a hundred million years. Almost my turn to check out. Just kidding. I can keep going because I'm still in line. But I think that's enough.

We like Shaw's bred. And I just tasted their Strawberry Torte. It is delicious! Good grocery shop in Wakefield.

Really nice, large Shaw’s location but doesn’t have a self checkout. Really a bummer when you need just a few things and are in a rush. Only had two registers open when I went in as well and the lines were long.
